So my parents are in India. Actualy in Bombay. Is there anybody who can show them around?...or make contact, they dont know a living soul there. They will be going all over India, Delhi for sure. As soon as I know the proper details I will post them here. My folks r pretty cool people, they r on their first pilgrimage, searching for our ancestors etc. My Father is a English teacher, has been involved in the anti-apartheid struggle, a music lover (especially 50-60-70' music), he is a art lover, at present he does the pr for one of the major universities. My Mum has trained as a teacher/paedagog and also been an activist, she has a wicked sense of humour, very creative, loves shopping, dancing. They are pretty vibrant people who would like to get to know India from a non-tourist point of view.

Am I being cynical or is it that just at this post forward the repectable and much revered army of commentors have just vanished. What would be be really more intersting to note is that if you actually got a postive response.
What would be even cooler if you could have done a classical A/B reponse testing: Put in a parallel request stating that a young nublie nymph, with a penchant for liquor and probably certanly not unapathetic to nights stand would be dropping in to india and would be glad to have "somebody" show her around.
Having attempted to be all politically correct, holier than thou, I must add, lady, that although I think I do have loved to volunteer for the cause, and would have lurved to show your parents around but as luck would have it just about at the same time as your parents showed up I have had this urgent work, the house caught fire and the ground beneath my feet just sliped by ;)
Or am I just UnSanely Cynical today!!!

I just find it amusing that you tend to make assumtions.
It is often the case, but there are exception, that on often being shown the mirror or the truth (same difference one might add) people do react outrageously with reaction bordering on violence.. as is amply displayed in your outburst against my assumed (lack of ) sex life. I hadn’t read your posts before but the outburst did get the better of my
curiosity. Having done so I could completely point out an alcohol guzzling feme fatale that you would be ( as some midnight rip roaring gentlemen would attest to ) and who better than you to recant in much eloquence the numerous escapades to the ones both you and I have alluded too (coming as they would i assume form a more personal vatange point), except that I pointed out to a particular variety of a fictitious member of feminine gender and you just added a dash of color.
Ofcourse I do recognize the coconut that you would be , (brown skin with a white soul), so i do add my mighty apologies if some of my remarks did go about uncovering from the the vast unparalleled repository of your past drunken history numerous moments wasted by a bar in a cesspool of liquor and wasted cum...
And I should have added the statutory warning ..all characters in my commetns were wholly fictions. Any resemblance to a blogger dead or alive (lain to rest in scriptorium) is wholly coincidental.
